I have been with IX since 2005 and have been 100% satisfied since. Price is great, site builder features are great, the control panel is excellent, their customer service unparalleled. If I ever call in it is generally resolved within a few minutes. If their servers are down they will also contact me and they will keep me up to date on things until they are able to resolve the problem. I like how well my site is built. The professional appearance makes me happy. And how quickly it runs, on any device. I even like the pricing.

I had a recent problem where my biggest site went down. Upon calling customer service they told me I was over the limit. I spoke to them and they explained changes were made which limited the amount of storage space each site would receive. I fought on this issue and told them that I had been a customer for a couple of years and had never had this problem. Although it took several hours to get the problem solved I was able to get my site back up and running without having to change the site design or the space used on the site. I find it unfair. But, the fact that I got through to them, and resolved my problem, was good. The rates are very low besides that.

Like other complaints, I have been a customer for several years. Then one day they began to block my URL and told me I was overloading their server. How is this a possibility, when they claim unlimited bandwidth and unlimited disk space on the package that I chose?!

Regardless the price I pay for the hosting is something that I do not want to give up right now. the rates are low and their customer service is pretty good. They answer their phone quickly and when I spoke to someone they were able to perform an override so I could use the unlimited space.

Although I was upset with these error messages and some changes they made, they have remedied the problem and it is not worth changing over to a new host for me.

I run an established site and found out that if I were to switch, it would take me too much time to rebuild it.

I have been with IX Web Hosting for several years and no problems. Lately I begin receiving system messages saying too much space is being used and that if I continue using it, they will charge a higher price. When I signed up I had unlimited disk space all of a sudden new changes are being made and their customer service is going down the drain. IX sucks!

Still impressed after more than 6 years with IX. Their online chat staff is fast and helped me several times. IX also provides a high speed ticket system. The prices are unbeatable and I will host new projects at IX again for sure.

Everything was great for a couple of years with IX. then, like other customer complaints, things were not so great. They shut down one of my URL sites, claiming I was over the limit. They told me I had to remove files, disk storage and told me that videos had to come off my page. I was not willing to do this, so they told me I would have to pay for more disk space. I spoke to a few customer service reps. They were rude and told me the same thing. I am not happy with the changes that they made and do not plan on keeping my service with them any longer. I am currently looking for a new host here and would like to find a company that does not use such shady practices. IX make major changes to their site offerings without even giving their long time customers the courtesy of an explanation.

When there was an issue, IX fixed it right away. The support team was very responsive and they knew exactly what to do. I used the one click blog installer and it worked right away. IXs hosting plans are full of great features. Great choice.

After three years with ix web hosting, we have a negative impression. There were several security issues and our site got taken down twice, spammed with disgusting topics and abused for serving illegal downloads.
We had several email issues that were not solved in a reasonable time frame. The ticket was simply not processed and after insisting they were just telling us several times, they "are into it". After several days we called support and somebody was on the line that had no idea whatsoever. It was a shame and embarrassing. When our site was taken down again the second year, they just told us "change your password". As if the security breach had been a problem on our behalf! We are not happy at all and if issues like that keep on happening, we will definitely switch away from ix web hosting.

The staff is helpful. I talked to a guy that asked me about my website and stuff while we had to wait for an application to run for a moment. I liked that. he was friendly and knew immediately how to solve the problem.
